Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rafael Vinhas made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Kaká Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciro Favoretto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Vinhas's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Basílio Sampaio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dagoberto Lira. Ipuiuna SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Ipuiuna SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Abraão to maneuver through the defense. Sydney Damião charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sydney Damião the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ipuiuna SC's Sydney Damião got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Basílio Sampaio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dagoberto Lira skillfully saved the ball. Dalmo Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Lira having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Ronaldinho Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Itirapua AD fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Itirapua AD's Dalmo Lago looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kaká Mattos struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ciro Favoretto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipuiuna SC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmo Lago in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dagoberto Lira saved Ipuiuna SC from getting behind. In the 33rd match minute, Itirapua AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Dalmo Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Lira having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Vinícius Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes Itirapua AD got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Maia. In the 41st minute Rafael Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes of play Ipuiuna SC's Enrique Abraão was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Enrique Abraão hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Basílio Sampaio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dagoberto Lira. Ipuiuna SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalmo Lago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Vinícius Fernandes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dagoberto Lira. That made the score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Dalmo Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itirapua AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmo Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd play minute Vinícius Fernandes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dagoberto Lira. 0-3. Ipuiuna SC's Dagoberto Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Lago in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká Mattos in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Favoretto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciro Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Kaká Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ipuiuna SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaká Mattos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Ipuiuna SC defense, Vinícius Fernandes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dagoberto Lira. The Ipuiuna SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dagoberto Lira should have stopped the shot. Ipuiuna SC's Kaká Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Favoretto came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Ipuiuna SC's Kaká Mattos. But to his dismay, Kaká Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The Ipuiuna SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Itirapua AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Itirapua AD.
