Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ronaldão Maranhense started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Brasil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caracois EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moinhos the free kick. In the 6th minute, Dagoberto Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naldo da Mata made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Willian Sampaio sent off a good shot on target. Willian Sampaio struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Naldo da Mata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moinhos. Juninho Leal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Fernando Valladares having to make a save. 17 minutes into the game, Caracois EC's Natanael Netto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Fernando Valladares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ronaldão Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Moinhos's Ronaldão Maranhense got a free kick in the 24th minute. Juninho Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natanael Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 50th minute, Juninho Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caracois EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The Moinhos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Caracois EC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juninho Leal was the one to do the kick off. 65 minutes into the match, Caracois EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Maranhense came free, but Naldo da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldão Maranhense in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo da Mata saved Caracois EC from getting behind. After 68 played minutes Caracois EC got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Brasil. Moinhos's Luís Fernando Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Leal in the 77th minute of play. Juninho Leal might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Fernando Valladares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juninho Leal ran back to his position shaking his head. Natanael Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Juninho Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caracois EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juninho Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fernando Valladares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natanael Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Moinhos getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Murillo Breckenfeld hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Natanael Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caracois EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Natanael Netto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fernando Valladares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Naldo da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willian Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
