Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Falcão Mangueira took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Enéas Mesquita came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Daiva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enéas Mesquita couldn't finish the play. Washington de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enéas Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enéas Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Washington de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enéas Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Paulo Guimarães got free with Washington de Sena in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Washington de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Mesquita in the 20th minute of play. Washington de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Mesquita in the 22nd minute of the match. If Enéas Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Estevao's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Mesquita came free, but Washington de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Estevao booed when Daiva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrício da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Décio do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agenor Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Estevao's zone, João Paulo Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Washington de Sena came out of the goal and João Paulo Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Falcão Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio do Valle having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enéas Mesquita to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Falcão Mangueira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 55 played minutes Estevao got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Carioca. In the 58th minute, João Paulo Guimarães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enéas Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Agenor Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Falcão Mangueira in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio do Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Falcão Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estevao's supporters rose to their feet, but Falcão Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Décio do Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Manolo Botelho fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Daiva's protests and gave Manolo Botelho a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Daiva's Manolo Botelho got a free kick in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Daiva's zone, Agenor Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio do Valle came out of the goal and Agenor Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estevao's Olívio Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agenor Dias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Décio do Valle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Estevao getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Olívio Machado hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes Estevao got a freekick which was hit by Dionísio Pimenta. In the 94thth minute of the game Enéas Mesquita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estevao's Washington de Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Estevao players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Daiva.
