Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zé Mandrak started the match with the kick off. Duarte Carioca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Telmo Queiroz made a huge save. When Uiraponga's Zé Mandrak in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zororo's goalie prevented a goal. Telmo Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Mandrak in the 6th minute of the match. Telmo Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Zororo's Luís Paulo Mandrak got a free kick in the 11th minute. Zé Mandrak might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Mandrak ran back to his position shaking his head. Zé Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Queiroz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Duarte Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uiraponga's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Carioca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Telmo Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Telmo Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovani Faustino struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Armindo Bastos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zororo. Duarte Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Telmo Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zororo's Telmo Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Zororo from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Zororo's Telmo Queiroz got control of the ball when Duarte Carioca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Duarte Carioca could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Telmo Queiroz however easily saved by the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geovani Faustino to strike the kick off in the second half. Duarte Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Telmo Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Telmo Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Uiraponga booed when Zororo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinho Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duarte Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Mandrak might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Mandrak ran back to his position shaking his head. After 60 minutes, Benjamin Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zororo and the Uiraponga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benjamin Brito hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Duarte Carioca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telmo Queiroz was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Mandrak in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Queiroz saved Zororo from getting behind. Telmo Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Uiraponga's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Faustino came free, but Armindo Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zororo's Telmo Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Carioca in the 72nd minute of play. Baltazar Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Uiraponga's goalkeeper Armindo Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovani Lara. Telmo Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Flávio Toledo got in the 94th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Telmo Queiroz handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zororo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Uiraponga.
