Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mundial's Silvinho Ferreira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique da Cunha in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jano Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Ferreira in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Guaibal SC booed when Mundial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th match minute, Guaibal SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Mota to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Silvinho Ferreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jano Passos was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Guaibal SC's Ivo Quintal got a free kick in the 14th minute. Mundial's Erasmo Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mundial from getting a goal against them. Nelson Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wiliam Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Mundial got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Carvalho. Guaibal SC's Rodrigo Gomes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mundial. In the 28th minute of the match Willian Freire sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jano Passos skillfully saved the ball. Silvinho Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jano Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Silvinho Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Arlindo Coutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaibal SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mundial the free kick. Arlindo Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Silvinho Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique da Cunha made a kick off. Silvinho Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Passos having to interfere. Nelson Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jano Passos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvinho Ferreira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 57 minute of play. Nelson Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Passos having to interfere. Enrique da Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique da Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute, Wiliam Mota ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 72 minutes into the game, Guaibal SC's Wiliam Mota nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erasmo Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Enrique da Cunha took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Queirós. Erasmo Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Enrique da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaibal SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mundial for a fine match.
