Gilberto Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Novaes having to interfere. In the 10th minute Murilo Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Prata SC's Rômulo Azevedo got a free kick in the 13th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Rômulo Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prata SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rômulo Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Murilo Motta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dráusio de Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 25th minute, Rômulo Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prata SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After having played for 44 minutes, Rômulo Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Fernando Varela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Prata SC's Rômulo Azevedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dráusio de Alcântara. Dráusio de Alcântara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Rômulo Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Dráusio de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prata SC. Murilo Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dráusio de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rômulo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willian Mineiro's late challenge caught a Prata SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willian Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Paraguari EC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Willian Mineiro hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rômulo Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dráusio de Alcântara. That made the score 0-5 in the 68 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murilo Motta got free with Dráusio de Alcântara in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rômulo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Gilberto Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nildo Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Rômulo Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prata SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rômulo Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráusio de Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Paraguari EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Prata SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
