Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Enrique da Cunha started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes Guaibal SC got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Coutinho. 8 minutes into the match, Paraguari EC's Edinho Motta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jano Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Varela in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Guaibal SC's Ivo Quintal got a free kick in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Ivo Quintal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaibal SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguari EC the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Guaibal SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Quintal to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Paraguari EC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Willian Mineiro hit a great ball. Dráusio de Alcântara acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rodrigo Gomes. Enrique da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jano Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Penha in the 34th minute of play. If Carlos Fernando Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Carlos Fernando Varela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Fernando Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Passos having to interfere.

Dráusio de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 62 minutes on the clock, Fausto da Rocha commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guaibal SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Fernando Varela in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jano Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, Paraguari EC's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Mota came free, but Dráusio de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Paraguari EC's Gilberto Penha made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jano Passos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wiliam Mota might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dráusio de Alcântara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiliam Mota ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 93 minutes, Ivo Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaibal SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivo Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Wiliam Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaibal SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráusio de Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paraguari EC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
