Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Reinaldo de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moacir's supporters rose to their feet, but Reinaldo de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renatinho Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lenílson Leão hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Telmo Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toropy EC's Renatinho Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo de Medeiros in the 20th minute of play. When Telmo Sena came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Moacir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telmo Sena couldn't finish the play. Toropy EC's Renatinho Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Sena in the 28th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Toropy EC got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Leão. Reinaldo de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Telmo Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Válbson Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toropy EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson Loyola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osmar Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Válbson Loyola might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osmar Lopes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Válbson Loyola ran back to his position shaking his head. 48 minutes into the match, Toropy EC's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Sena came free, but Renatinho Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erivaldo Zonta to make the kick off. After 56 minutes, Carlos Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toropy EC and the Moacir players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Carlos Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zacarias Torres during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Válbson Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute, Válbson Loyola made a precise shot to the right of Osmar Lopes. Moacir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Osmar Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Válbson Loyola's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. If Telmo Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Dagoberto de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Válter Rosado fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moacir's protests and gave Válter Rosado a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Moacir getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Válter Rosado hit a great ball. Erivaldo Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
