Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Natanael Cearense took the kick off in the first half of the match. Natanael Cearense took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aluísio da Mata. Aluísio da Mata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, Jefferson Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taquaperi SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argoim FC the free kick. After 6 played minutes Taquaperi SC got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Vidal. Henrique Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho Nóbrega having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Taquaperi SC's Túlio Paulista got a free kick in the 11th minute. The long shot by Anderson Pinheiro in the 12th minute really tested Armandinho Nóbrega's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Taquaperi SC's Jefferson Vidal got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Taquaperi SC's Armandinho Nóbrega got control of the ball when Henrique Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armandinho Nóbrega was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Olavo de Souza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olavo de Souza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Olavo de Souza's late challenge caught a Taquaperi SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olavo de Souza helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Argoim FC's Olavo de Souza got a free kick in the 25th minute. Natanael Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Aluísio da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aluísio da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Cearense in the 30th minute of the match. If Olavo de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes of play Taquaperi SC's Jefferson Vidal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jefferson Vidal hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Armandinho Nóbrega acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anderson Pinheiro. In the 39th minute, Waldemar Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edvaldo Soeiro during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Taquaperi SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Taquaperi SC's Armandinho Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Veiga in the 66th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Waldemar Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taquaperi SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When Richard Berger fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taquaperi SC's protests and gave Richard Berger a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Taquaperi SC got a freekick which was hit by Richard Berger. Olavo de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho Nóbrega having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Olavo de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argoim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olavo de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Taquaperi SC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Veiga came free, but Armandinho Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Argoim FC booed when Taquaperi SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Túlio Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Argoim FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Waldemar Araújo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Natanael Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taquaperi SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Natanael Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aluísio da Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Váldson Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Taquaperi SC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Argoim FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
