Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erik Braga got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute Delfim Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bebeto Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Erik Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florestina's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaragua's Anselmo Diniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Jaragua from getting a goal against them. If Delfim Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Braga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anselmo Diniz having to make a save. In the 22nd match minute, Jaragua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Secco to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Anselmo Diniz managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Florestina's Natanael Pinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th minute, Natanael Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Anselmo Diniz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo da Fonseca during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jaragua's Enéas Meirelles got a free kick in the 36th minute. Natanael Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Anselmo Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Florestina got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Pinho. Delfim Nunes took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebeto Penha. Bebeto Penha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half Jaragua were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delfim Nunes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Delfim Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enéas Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebeto Penha having to interfere. When Natanael Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Florestina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natanael Pinho couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute Natanael Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Jaragua left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Florestina.
