Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raúl Goiano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Anselmo Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Raúl Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Carlos Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Nunes in the 13th minute of the match. Zé Carlos Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Nunes in the 19th minute of play. Delfim Nunes scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Carlos Vieira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorian dos Santos during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Pimento got a freekick which was hit by Dorian dos Santos. Anselmo Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Goiano in the 44th minute of play. Tiaguinho Prado charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiaguinho Prado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zé Carlos Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delfim Nunes made a kick off. Lenílson Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 54 minutes, Lenílson Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pimento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Enéas Meirelles came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Jaragua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enéas Meirelles couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delfim Nunes in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Carlos Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enéas Meirelles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Zé Carlos Vieira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raúl Goiano in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Diniz saved Jaragua from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Lenílson Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lenílson Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Anselmo Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raúl Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Carlos Vieira made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Enéas Meirelles sent off a good shot on target. Zé Carlos Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lenílson Dantas might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Diniz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lenílson Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute Raúl Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Jaragua getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Samuca Secco hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the game, Pimento's Lenílson Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anselmo Diniz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Baltazar Mota's late challenge caught a Jaragua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltazar Mota helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jaragua booed when Pimento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pimento's Zé Carlos Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Pimento from getting a goal against them. If Raúl Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
