After 31st play minutes Kauan Gerber shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Jeferson Novaes and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Granzato SC's Ronaldão de Senna got a free kick in the 35th minute. Alberto Couto struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Abelardo Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queimadinhas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Couto in the 40th minute of play forced Granzato SC's goalkeeper Abelardo Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Luís Quirino to strike the kick off in the second half. Percival Motta struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Abelardo Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queimadinhas. If Fernando Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Kauan Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granzato SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kauan Gerber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeferson Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abelardo Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Motta in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Perivaldo Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Couto struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Abelardo Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queimadinhas. Abelardo Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Couto in the 75th minute of play. If Percival Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeferson Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 91 played minutes, Queimadinhas's Walmyr Secco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abelardo Loureiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Queimadinhas reached it. Paulo Renato Brodel hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Kauan Gerber who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Jeferson Novaes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abelardo Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the game, Perivaldo Mota was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granzato SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Queimadinhas the free kick.
