Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dadá Dias took the kick off in the first half of the match. Reynaldo Dracena might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renatinho Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reynaldo Dracena ran back to his position shaking his head. Juvenal Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Renatinho Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Garcia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dadá Dias went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Juvenal Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renatinho Arruda made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Juvenal Alves sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the game, Flávio Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ijuhy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redempcao the free kick. Flávio Soares hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Agnaldo Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Zé Pedro Magalhães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Fernando Garcia was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Magalhães in the 24th minute of play forced Redempcao's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dadá Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Reynaldo Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Ijuhy FC's goalkeeper Renatinho Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juvenal Alves. 35 minutes into the game, José Pedro Vinhas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ijuhy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redempcao the free kick. Narciso Santos shot a long shot in the 36th minute and a light blocked Renatinho Arruda hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. Renatinho Arruda made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Juvenal Alves sent off a good shot on target. Dadá Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reynaldo Dracena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Juvenal Alves notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ijuhy FC's Renatinho Arruda. Renatinho Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juvenal Alves in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renatinho Arruda saved Ijuhy FC from getting behind. Zé Pedro Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Carlos Fernando Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Pedro Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Juvenal Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Fernando Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Dias in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dadá Dias in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Fernando Garcia saved Redempcao from getting behind. Carlos Fernando Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Redempcao's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Dias came free, but Carlos Fernando Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Pedro Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Carlos Fernando Garcia made a huge save. Renatinho Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Redempcao's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
