Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alberto Couto started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Alberto Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dadá Dias spun around in front of the goal 9 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Queimadinhas's goal. Dadá Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson Novaes having to interfere. Jeferson Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dadá Dias in the 13th minute of the match. Renatinho Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renatinho Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Alberto Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Arruda having to interfere. Dadá Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson Novaes having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Queimadinhas's goalkeeper Jeferson Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Pedro Magalhães. After 30 played minutes Queimadinhas got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Brodel. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Queimadinhas's goalkeeper Jeferson Novaes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Ijuhy FC's Dadá Dias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeferson Novaes. Jeferson Novaes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Dias in the 37th minute of play forced Queimadinhas's goalkeeper Jeferson Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Pedro Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Pedro Magalhães got free with Jeferson Novaes in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dadá Dias was the one to do the kick off. Percival Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Arruda having to interfere. When Flávio Soares fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ijuhy FC's protests and gave Flávio Soares a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ijuhy FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Flávio Soares hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Ijuhy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Couto came free, but Renatinho Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Dadá Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ijuhy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 75th match minute, Ijuhy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Soares to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ijuhy FC booed when Queimadinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ijuhy FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dadá Dias hit a great ball. Renatinho Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jeferson Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Magalhães in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ijuhy FC's zone, Percival Motta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renatinho Arruda came out of the goal and Percival Motta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
