The referee ignored Ijuhy FC's protests and gave Dadá Dias a yellow card for diving instead. Dadá Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Pedro Luís Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Arruda having to interfere. Renatinho Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Pedro Luís Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granzato SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luís Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renatinho Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Pedro Luís Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Silveira during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tiago Silveira hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Abelardo Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Abelardo Loureiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dadá Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st play minute Zé Pedro Magalhães came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Abelardo Loureiro. 1-0. Kauan Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ijuhy FC booed when Granzato SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renatinho Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Quirino in the 44th minute of the match. José Pedro Vinhas's late challenge caught a Granzato SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Pedro Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Ijuhy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. Kauan Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Renatinho Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Tiago Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Granzato SC's Aluísio Novaes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. It was beautiful to see Ijuhy FC's Paulo Motta in action when he in the 55th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After having played for 59 minutes, Flávio Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ijuhy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flávio Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ijuhy FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pedro Luís Quirino 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Quirino in the 68th minute of play forced Ijuhy FC's goalkeeper Renatinho Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kauan Gerber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renatinho Arruda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Pedro Luís Quirino struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Renatinho Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granzato SC. After a rather tough play, Ijuhy FC's José Pedro Vinhas got a free kick in the 74th minute. Granzato SC's Tiago Silveira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ijuhy FC. Kauan Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Arruda having to interfere. Pedro Luís Quirino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Kauan Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Renatinho Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pedro Luís Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Granzato SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Quirino couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Granzato SC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
