Léo Mello started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ulysses Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Picaras's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulysses Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysses Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. César Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Téo Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Picaras's Téo Vinhas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Picaras from getting a goal against them. The tension between the Picaras and the Cacauzinho SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Téo Vinhas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agenor Britto in the 27th minute. Agenor Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Vinhas having to interfere. Ulisses Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulysses Leme during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Picaras got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Leme. César Paraibano hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Téo Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agenor Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. César Paraibano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Téo Vinhas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Agenor Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Picaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Picaras's Téo Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Paraibano in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Mello in the 72nd minute of play forced Cacauzinho SS's goalkeeper Ulysses Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulysses Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulysses Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulysses Leme in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Joaquim Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léo Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ulysses Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, César Paraibano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89thth minute of the game César Paraibano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Picaras's Téo Vinhas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cacauzinho SS's zone, Nelsinho Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulysses Romero came out of the goal and Nelsinho Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Cacauzinho SS's César Paraibano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Téo Vinhas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cacauzinho SS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
