Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jardin's Fabrício Saraiva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Léo Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Picaras's goalkeeper Téo Vinhas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ulysses Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Ulysses Leme reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geraldo Terra. The goal made the score 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Samuel Breckenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jardin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Picaras the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Léo Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Picaras's supporters rose to their feet, but Léo Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geraldo Terra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geraldo Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Mello in the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulysses Leme got free with Geraldo Terra in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Téo Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ulysses Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Geraldo Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Léo Mello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
