Acácio de Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oséias Cosme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Rafinha Cardoso scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dadá Cabral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Hélio Mendes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hélio Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias Cosme having to interfere. Rafinha Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dadá Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Rafinha Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dadá Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori de Azevedo in the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fiori de Azevedo in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dadá Cabral saved Mirity from getting behind. 45 minutes into the game, Willian Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio de Azevedo in the 92nd minute of play forced Leucadia SS's goalkeeper Oséias Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
