After 19 minutes of play, Itaborahy's Durval Paulista made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Durval Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Jacipora SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Natã Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mazinho Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Reis in the 34th minute of play forced Itaborahy's goalkeeper Mazinho Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Jacipora SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Durval Paulista fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Enrique Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Emanuel Veloso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Enrique Mesquita in the 47thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natã Lago was the one to do the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Natã Lago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itaborahy's Mazinho Meira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mazinho Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Lago in the 58th minute of the match. Emanuel Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durval Paulista went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Emanuel Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Mesquita in the 64th minute of play. When Durval Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Itaborahy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Durval Paulista couldn't finish the play. Sandrinho Mesquita scored 3-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mazinho Meira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reinaldo Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazinho Meira having to interfere. Jacipora SC's Emanuel Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Mesquita in the 87th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Natã Lago took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Mazinho Meira to make any attempt to save it.
