Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jarbas Motta kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Iaunari booed when Orizona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th match minute, Orizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. Vitório Branco, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas Motta in the 31st minute of play forced Iaunari's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Fernando Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Motta in the 32nd minute of play. Orizona's Dalmo Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando Pereira in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Téo Dias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iaunari were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Orizona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vitório Branco took the corner. In the 58th match minute, Orizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Nando Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Fernando Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Motta in the 65th minute of play. Fabrício Barral's late challenge caught a Iaunari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabrício Barral helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Fabrício Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Iaunari's Téo Dias in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orizona's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Iaunari's zone, Jarbas Motta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Fernando Paraense came out of the goal and Jarbas Motta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Orizona getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Otávio Gomes hit a great ball. With his leg Dalmo Queiroz managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Iaunari's Nando Pereira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Dedê Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Fernando Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibúrcio Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orizona were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Iaunari for a fine match.
