Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vitinho Lira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Sidrolandia's Júlio Bertassi in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Veneza's goalie prevented a goal. Gilberto Messias got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 8th match minute before Emílio Andrade had time to react. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Vitinho Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veneza's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitinho Lira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emílio Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Bertassi in the 18th minute of play forced Veneza's goalkeeper Simão Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Cunha hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Júlio Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Ademir Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubens Tande, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 29th minute, Gilberto Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilberto Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Emílio Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veneza's Simão Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Esteves in the 32nd minute of play. If Júlio Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Bertassi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júlio Bertassi made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Júlio Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Gilberto Messias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emílio Andrade. Sidrolandia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Messias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 65th minute Júlio Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Sidrolandia's Júlio Bertassi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Simão Pimenta. Simão Pimenta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Messias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emílio Andrade was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After having played for 81 minutes, Júlio Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sidrolandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Sidrolandia's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Messias came free, but Emílio Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Júlio Bertassi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Simão Pimenta. Júlio Bertassi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Simão Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 93 played minutes Sidrolandia got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Tande. Sidrolandia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
