After some careless play in the Tancredinho defense, William Cosme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavinho Moura. The Tancredinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavinho Moura should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Luís Eduardo Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mazinho Amorim in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manoel Arantes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 19thth minute of the game Víktor Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tancredinho's Flavinho Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Víktor Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Cagados EC's goalkeeper Manoel Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mazinho Amorim. William Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Flavinho Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Tancredinho's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Oliveira came free, but Flavinho Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes Tancredinho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cafu Santana who took care of the corner kick. Cafu Santana made a great header on Cagados EC's corner, it was just that Tancredinho's Flavinho Moura managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Cosme in the 39th minute of play forced Tancredinho's goalkeeper Flavinho Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Víktor Oliveira notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tancredinho's Flavinho Moura. Flavinho Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the match, Cagados EC's William Cosme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavinho Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flavinho Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Anísio Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mazinho Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Arantes having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Ramalho was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, William Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cagados EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Cosme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rubinho de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Víktor Oliveira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 73rd playminute. Víktor Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Cosme was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Cagados EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tancredinho's Jorge Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Amorim in the 83rd minute of play forced Cagados EC's goalkeeper Manoel Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víktor Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Ramalho took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manoel Arantes. Manoel Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. If Jorge Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cagados EC played a much better game than Tancredinho and deserved their victory. The Tancredinho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
