Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sandrinho de Alcântara took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th match minute, Reducao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Coelho to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Jaboticabal's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Cavalcante came free, but Manoel Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Coelho hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes, Jaboticabal's Nilmar Barbosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Pires came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jaboticabal reached it. Marcinho Guerra hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Albertinho Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Pires having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Rodolfo Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Dida Cavalcante got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Marcinho Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reducao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcinho Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dida Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Barros having to interfere. If Dida Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dida Cavalcante to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaboticabal's Manoel Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dida Cavalcante in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Vale in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manoel Barros saved Jaboticabal from getting behind. A collision led to Jaboticabal getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Nilmar Barbosa hit a great ball. Dida Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Manoel Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69thth minute of the game Henrique Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaboticabal's Manoel Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dida Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manoel Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Sandrinho de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Luiz Fabiano Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertinho Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. The Jaboticabal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
