Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Claudinei Castro got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Carmo getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Edinho Sabóia hit a great ball. Rogério Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Júlio Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinei Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias da Rocha having to interfere. Salceiro AD's Lúcio da Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio Hermes came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Salceiro AD's Acácio de Lara. But to his dismay, Acácio de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Acácio de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acácio de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Júlio Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Carmo got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano de Amorim. In the 40th minute Acácio de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Edinho Sabóia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carmo and the Salceiro AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Salceiro AD booed when Carmo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edinho Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Erik Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Botelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carmo's Geraldo Félix couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Salceiro AD. After 67 minutes, Anísio Galvão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carmo and the Salceiro AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anísio Galvão hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Acácio de Lara struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Júlio Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salceiro AD. Júlio Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lúcio da Rocha's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Jorginho Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias da Rocha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Erik Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes, Carmo's Geraldo Félix shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elias da Rocha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carmo reached it. Erik Botelho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Júlio Hermes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Claudinei Castro made a precise shot to the right of Elias da Rocha. Salceiro AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a little luck, Carmo's Júlio Hermes got control of the ball when Acácio de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Júlio Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 95 minutes, Acácio de Lara made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Carmo's Júlio Hermes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
