Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Cutade booed when Turvinia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Mumbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldinho Viana in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joélson Mesquita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antônio Carlos Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Joélson Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cutade's Ronaldinho Viana in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Turvinia's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Ronaldinho Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cutade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldinho Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ronaldinho Viana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joélson Mesquita was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Edson Rosado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Pires in the 25th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Ronaldinho Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Turvinia's Joélson Mesquita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wellington Paraense charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wellington Paraense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Turvinia getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Wellington Paraense hit a great ball. Edinho Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Lucas Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edson Rosado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 48 minutes, Lucas Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turvinia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilton Prestes was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Duarte do Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edson Rosado. Cutade's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duarte do Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 60 minutes into the match, Turvinia's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Amorim came free, but Joélson Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Turvinia's goalkeeper Joélson Mesquita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldinho Viana. 71 minutes into the game, Wilton Prestes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turvinia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cutade the free kick. In the 71st match minute, Turvinia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Prestes to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cutade's goalkeeper Edson Rosado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edson Rosado came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Turvinia's Wilton Prestes. But to his dismay, Wilton Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 84th minute, Cutade's Antônio Carlos Amorim dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Cássio Catarinense hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Turvinia's Lucas Pires in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cutade's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute of the match Edinho Trancoso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edson Rosado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 95th minute Wilton Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Turvinia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cutade had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
