Luiz Paulo Pirani was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Memori's zone, Ronaldinho Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Paulo Pirani came out of the goal and Ronaldinho Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Memori's Luiz Paulo Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Amorim in the 29th minute of play. Amauri Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Rosado having to interfere. The wind increased when Antônio Carlos Amorim made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Memori's Luiz Paulo Pirani got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Viana tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Pedrinho Jacinto fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Memori's protests and gave Pedrinho Jacinto a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Memori got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Jacinto. If Ronaldinho Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldinho Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Amauri Viana came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Memori fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amauri Viana couldn't finish the play. Memori's Luiz Paulo Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Amorim in the 80th minute of play. Ronaldinho Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Pirani having to interfere. Luiz Paulo Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fernando Paulista fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Memori's protests and gave Fernando Paulista a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Memori getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Fernando Paulista hit a great ball. The supporters of Cutade booed when Memori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Paulo Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
