The referee ignored Pirajai's protests and gave Fabiano Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. Fabiano Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Rogério Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pirajai getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Faustão da Costa hit a great ball. Chane's Virgílio Zilles got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Chane booed when Pirajai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Teixeira having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Dráusio Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirajai's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráusio Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Délio Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Mendes's late challenge caught a Pirajai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chane getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. David Mendes hit a great ball. Délio Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Dráusio Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ezequiel Teixeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Albertinho Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Virgílio Zilles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Délio Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráusio Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Rogério Linhares struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ezequiel Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chane. Virgílio Zilles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Virgílio Zilles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirajai the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chane's Virgílio Zilles got a free kick in the 89th minute. Bernardo Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dráusio Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Délio Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Chane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. Pirajai's Bernardo Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pirajai's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
