Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eliseu Pirani took the kick off in the first half of the match. Germano da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caracanga SC's Eliseu Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Bruno Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Alex Cabral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrique Santana. Bambuhy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Cabral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu Pirani in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrique Santana saved Bambuhy from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, Lino Travassos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bambuhy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caracanga SC the free kick. The supporters of Caracanga SC booed when Bambuhy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eliseu Pirani came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Caracanga SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseu Pirani couldn't finish the play. After 31 played minutes Bambuhy got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Cruz. Sandro Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Yuri Paraíba charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yuri Paraíba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yuri Paraíba hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Sandrinho Koehler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Germano da Costa. Caracanga SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandrinho Koehler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Bambuhy's Eusébio de Queiroz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Galvão made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Eliseu Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caracanga SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bambuhy's Sandrinho Koehler in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caracanga SC's goalie prevented a goal. 57 minutes into the game, Sandrinho Koehler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Germano da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Bambuhy's Henrique Santana got control of the ball when Christian Guimarães tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Luís Viana hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Bambuhy's Henrique Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Pirani in the 65th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Bruno Paraíba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bambuhy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caracanga SC the free kick. A collision led to Bambuhy getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Bruno Paraíba hit a great ball. Alex Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrique Santana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Sandrinho Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bambuhy's zone, Alex Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Santana came out of the goal and Alex Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrique Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 88th minute, Erivaldo Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germano da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Santana made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Alex Cabral sent off a good shot on target. Germano da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Galvão in the 93rd minute of play. If Sandrinho Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Galvão struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Germano da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bambuhy. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
