Diego Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel da Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Oneide SS's Cássio Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Juninho da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Capipi AD's Albertinho Ramos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maurinho de Amorim but with some difficulty. Juninho da Mata charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juninho da Mata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Oneide SS getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Juninho da Mata hit a great ball. Ulysses Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho de Amorim having to interfere. Moisés Nunes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Maurinho de Amorim when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Samuel da Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Cássio Gaspar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Samuel da Silva. With a little luck, Oneide SS's Maurinho de Amorim got control of the ball when Moisés Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Maurinho de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Nunes in the 52nd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Cássio Gaspar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuel da Silva. Cássio Gaspar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Maurinho de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimir Albuquerque went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Maurinho de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moisés Nunes went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Ulysses Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moisés Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho de Amorim having to interfere. Samuel da Silva acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Raí Hames. Diego Lopes took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel da Silva. Samuel da Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Samuel da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Capipi AD's Samuel da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Gaspar in the 92nd minute of play. Although Capipi AD had been in control for most of the match, Oneide SS still came away with the win.
