Potyrendaba SS's Percy Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Soares in the 27th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Telmo Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remo Quirino was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Telmo Mendonça made a kick off. Potyrendaba SS's Percy Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Fernandez in the 56th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Panela's goalkeeper Remo Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Penha. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Penha during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Remo Quirino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nuno Penhas short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Remo Quirino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Potyrendaba SS's Telmo Mendonça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Remo Quirino. That made the score 1-2 after 91 minutes of play. Percy Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Fernandez in the 96th minute of the match. Potyrendaba SS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
