Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Apajatuba SS's Flávio Arce started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Serginho Lira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Durvalino Koehler made a huge save. Paulo Xavier charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Xavier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Orlando Xavier did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Durvalino Koehler 26 minutes into the match. The long shot by Claudinei Koehler in the 32nd minute really tested Durvalino Koehler's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Walmir Freire, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nilson Abreu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Almir Dante. Flávio Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Olinda had won after a very even match.
