Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Teixeiras's Severino Furtado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Gaúcho in the 10th minute of play forced Teixeiras's goalkeeper Sandrinho do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho do Valle having to interfere. Sandrinho do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Maria Peixoto's late challenge caught a Teixeiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Maria Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Triunio SS's José Maria Peixoto got a free kick in the 20th minute. Waldir Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Abreu having to interfere. Sandrinho do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Triunio SS's Valdir Tavares in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Teixeiras's goalie prevented a goal. If Valdir Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Teixeiras's Severino Furtado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Abreu. That made the score 1-0 after 47 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
After 58 played minutes Triunio SS got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Tavares. The audience was convinced that Severino Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Abreu was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Enrique Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Furtado in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Teixeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Braga to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Triunio SS's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Cavalcante came free, but Enrique Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Fonseca during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 76 minutes into the game, one of Teixeiras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, Triunio SS's Ademar Brodel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sandrinho do Valle. After 81 played minutes Triunio SS got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho Fantini. Enrique Abreu came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Teixeiras's Severino Furtado. But to his dismay, Severino Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Bernardinho Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Triunio SS got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Tavares. Teixeiras's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
