With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateus Barros in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silas Mazza saved Guarani SS from getting behind. When Mateus Barros came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Tucanguira AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateus Barros couldn't finish the play. Mateus Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Mazza having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Adhemar Cardoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alan dos Santos, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Tucanguira AD's Ernesto da Cunha got a free kick in the 19th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Guarani SS's Vito Batista tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ademir Meira got free with Alan dos Santos in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tucanguira AD's Alan dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Cardoso in the 23rd minute of play. Mathias Gaspar hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Silas Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Tavares in the 27th minute of the match. Ademir Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan dos Santos having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Mateus Barros notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Guarani SS's Silas Mazza. Silas Mazza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ademir Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarani SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademir Meira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alan dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Cardoso in the 46th minute of play forced Tucanguira AD's goalkeeper Alan dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ademir Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateus Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Albertinho Tavares lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Silas Mazza. In the 62nd match minute, Guarani SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Araújo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Barros in the 63rd minute of play forced Guarani SS's goalkeeper Silas Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tucanguira AD booed when Guarani SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silas Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Barros in the 67th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertinho Tavares got free with Silas Mazza in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albertinho Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Silas Mazza made a huge save. After 85 minutes Tucanguira AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vito Batista who took care of the corner kick. Guarani SS's Vito Batista was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alan dos Santos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Mathias Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Guarani SS fans jumped to their feet. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tucanguira AD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
