Frédson Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Lopez in the 7th minute of the match. If Ronaldo Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Mariante SS's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Queiroz came free, but Douglas Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Válbson Queiroz might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Válbson Queiroz ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Mariante SS's Diogo de Almeida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frédson Vides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariante SS's Diogo de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aluísio Matorin's late challenge caught a Mariante SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aluísio Matorin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Ipoema FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aluísio Matorin to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Enrique Dracena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diogo de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldo Lopez made a kick off. Enrique Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 played minutes, Mariante SS's Lino Fantini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frédson Vides came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mariante SS reached it. Diogo de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Vides having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diogo de Almeida in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frédson Vides prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 75 minutes into the game, one of Ipoema FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Ipoema FC's Aluísio Matorin got a free kick in the 78th minute. The supporters of Mariante SS booed when Ipoema FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Ronaldo Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Vides having to interfere. A collision led to Ipoema FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Aluísio Matorin hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Lopez in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frédson Vides saved Ipoema FC from getting behind. Frédson Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Lopez in the 91st minute of the match. Diogo de Almeida struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Frédson Vides didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mariante SS. Ipoema FC's Frédson Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Lucas in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Lucas in the 94th minute of play forced Ipoema FC's goalkeeper Frédson Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Enrique Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Mariante SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
