The referee showed Marquinhos Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marquinhos Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Walmir Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Franca's Walmir Paulista ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Douglas Queiroz. Douglas Queiroz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Douglas Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walmir Paulista's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Roberto Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo de Almeida in the 22nd minute of the match. Luís Fabiano do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When Franca's Cauan Penha, in the 26th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Franca. 30 minutes into the match, Franca's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Lopez came free, but Roberto Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo de Almeida in the 35th minute of play. Mariante SS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lino Fantini in the 42nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Lino Fantini got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roberto Valadares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lino Fantini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto Valadares. Franca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 44 played minutes Franca got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Corrêa. When Cauan Penha came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Franca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauan Penha couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Lopez was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Franca's Walmir Paulista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roberto Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Prata in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo de Almeida got free with Roberto Valadares in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Douglas Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Paulista in the 96th minute of the match. Franca's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
