Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dalmo de Senna took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Ibitiruna SS's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo de Senna came free, but Andrézinho Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Armandinho Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibitiruna SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armandinho Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute, Albertinho Pinho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Antônio Leite, passed just outside the right post. Andrézinho Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Cordeiro in the 10th minute of play. Zacarias Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Andrézinho Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrézinho Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo de Senna in the 14th minute of the match. Dalmo de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Albertino Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Ceresso having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Ciro Veiga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Calilea's Antônio Leite didn't even have to move. Armandinho Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Antônio Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armandinho Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antônio Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armandinho Cardozo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Armandinho Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Albertinho Pinho made the kick off in the second half. Dalmo de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Ceresso having to interfere. Andrézinho Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo de Senna in the 56th minute of the match. Andrézinho Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Calilea's zone, Armandinho Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio Leite came out of the goal and Armandinho Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Carvalho's late challenge caught a Ibitiruna SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. Dalmo de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho Pinho in the 75th minute of play forced Calilea's goalkeeper Antônio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmo de Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrézinho Ceresso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Dagoberto da Mata charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dagoberto da Mata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dagoberto da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Andrézinho Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Dalmo de Senna came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Calilea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmo de Senna couldn't finish the play. After 93 played minutes Ibitiruna SS got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Guimarães. Antônio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Pinho in the 97th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
