Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Serafim Bittencourt got the match started through his kick off. Teodoro Araújo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armandinho Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Joacy's goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Bittencourt came free, but Marquinhos Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Cardozo in the 9th minute of play forced Limpeza SS's goalkeeper Teodoro Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armandinho Cardozo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Araújo saved Limpeza SS from getting behind. Fred Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Araújo having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Joacy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Donato to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Joacy's zone, Serafim Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquinhos Souto came out of the goal and Serafim Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beto da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fred Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Teodoro Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armandinho Cardozo in the 32nd minute of play. Serafim Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marquinhos Souto made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Maurinho Recife sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, Joacy's goalkeeper Marquinhos Souto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beto da Rocha. Armandinho Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Teodoro Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Teodoro Araújo was a little too slow when Fred Donato got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-1. Marquinhos Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto da Rocha in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Vitório Alvarenga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joacy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limpeza SS the free kick. Serafim Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos Souto having to interfere. If Armandinho Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Joacy's Fred Donato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Araújo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fred Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Araújo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Bittencourt in the 87th minute of play forced Joacy's goalkeeper Marquinhos Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marquinhos Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Bittencourt in the 90th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Limpeza SS's goalkeeper Teodoro Araújo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Donato. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Joacy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
