Luís Guilherme de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Guilherme de Amaral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cafu Urbano. Amana SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guarnesia's Caco Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Veloso in the 20th minute of play. Dinei Veloso in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Caco Rocha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Ciro Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amana SC's Cafu Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Jacinto in the 29th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Guarnesia got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Cardozo. Frédson Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Jacinto ran back to his position shaking his head. Cafu Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Amana SC's goalkeeper Cafu Urbano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Jacinto. Cafu Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Ciro Rodrigues made a precise shot to the right of Cafu Urbano. Amana SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guarnesia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Amana SC.
