Rogério Mumbach came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bobo SC's Oscar Gaúcho. But to his dismay, Oscar Gaúcho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bobo SC's Cristiano Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Bobo SC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Bobo SC's Cristiano Duarte got control of the ball when Rubinho Pires tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walmir do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogério Mumbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Walmir do Valle scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Mumbach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rubinho Pires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walmir do Valle in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Mumbach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Oscar Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Bobo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Unhao EC's Edmílson Coutinho got a free kick in the 34th minute. A collision led to Unhao EC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Edmílson Coutinho hit a great ball. When Alberto Romero fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unhao EC's protests and gave Alberto Romero a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 59th minute, Walmir do Valle made a precise shot to the right of Rogério Mumbach. Unhao EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 65 minutes into the match, Bobo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Pires came free, but Cristiano Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmir do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Mumbach having to interfere. Oscar Gaúchos short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Rogério Mumbach to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oscar Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Walmir do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Mumbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Unhao EC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Cruz. After a rather tough play, Unhao EC's Juninho Dantas got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bobo SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
