In the 11th match minute, Inhobim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Garcia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Iuri Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iandara SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iuri Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 15 in the game by Iuri Vides from a close distance when the talented Jefferson Maciel managed to make a qualified save. Inhobim's players were relieved. Bruninho Damião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Iandara SC booed when Inhobim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bruninho Damião came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Iandara SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruninho Damião couldn't finish the play. If Iuri Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomás da Cunha's late challenge caught a Inhobim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomás da Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 31 minutes, Iuri Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iandara SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iuri Vides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Iandara SC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Garcia came free, but Franklin Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruninho Damião got free with Jefferson Maciel in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agostinho Ferraz in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Miranda saved Iandara SC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Sidney Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inhobim's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmundo Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sidney Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruninho Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Iandara SC booed when Inhobim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Garcia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Inhobim's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 74th match minute, Iandara SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Eger to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Sidney Reis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Iandara SC's Franklin Miranda. Franklin Miranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Franklin Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Garcia in the 81st minute of play. Bruninho Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jefferson Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iuri Vides's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jefferson Maciel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. If Sidney Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomás da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franklin Miranda was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. If Edmundo Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Iandara SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Inhobim's performance. The match ended with a win for Inhobim.
