Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. André Luís Donato started the match with the kick off. Luiz Paulo Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Luís Donato's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Nildo Pontes struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Luiz Paulo Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacurici FC. In the 6th match minute, Malva FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Quirino to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Malva FC's zone, Nildo Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Paulo Mendes came out of the goal and Nildo Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute Nildo Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Paulo Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Manfredo Novaes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aloísio Damião was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Claudinho Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 played minutes Malva FC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Galvão. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luís Donato in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Paulo Mendes saved Malva FC from getting behind. Luiz Paulo Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Pontes in the 27th minute of the match. Nildo Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Mendes having to interfere. Aloísio Damião was a little too slow when Manfredo Novaes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. Manfredo Novaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aloísio Damião having to make a save. In the 41st minute, Manfredo Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudinho Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Aloísio Damião made a huge save. Jacurici FC's Aloísio Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Novaes in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manfredo Novaes to make the kick off. Nildo Pontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Paulo Mendes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nildo Pontes ran back to his position shaking his head. Luiz Paulo Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luís Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nildo Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nildo Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Luís Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nildo Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Malva FC's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aloísio Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Novaes in the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Claudinho Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malva FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Xavier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudinho Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Damião having to interfere. In the 77th minute Manfredo Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacurici FC's Aloísio Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Novaes in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Téo Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malva FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Téo Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aloísio Damião breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Claudinho Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Jacurici FC's Afonsinho Abraão got a free kick in the 91st minute. Malva FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
