Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rdth minute of the game Kaká Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chiqueiro's Eliézer Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Castrolandia SC's Flavinho Bertassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eliézer Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flavinho Bertassi scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliézer Varela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chiqueiro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Almir de Lara was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Marquinhos Nascimento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marquinhos Nascimento really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Flavinho Bertassi might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliézer Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavinho Bertassi ran back to his position shaking his head. Antônio Carlos Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cido Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eliézer Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavinho Bertassi went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After having played for 43 minutes, Flavinho Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castrolandia SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavinho Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

A collision led to Chiqueiro getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Giovanni Queirós hit a great ball. Kaká Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Eliézer Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castrolandia SC. The supporters of Chiqueiro booed when Castrolandia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Antônio Carlos Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Almir de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Quadros in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Castrolandia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Trigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Cido Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Castrolandia SC's Ian Trigo got a free kick in the 68th minute. Antônio Carlos Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir de Lara having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Castrolandia SC's zone, Cido Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almir de Lara came out of the goal and Cido Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Cido Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antônio Carlos Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Almir de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Castrolandia SC's Eliézer Varela threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flavinho Bertassi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Flavinho Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Castrolandia SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Castrolandia SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
