In the 98th minute, one of Murihu EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Murihu EC. In the 100th minute there was a penalty for Castrolandia SC. Ronaldo Medeiros stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Afonso de Toledo. 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
