Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Antônio Carlos Quadros made the kick off and thus started the match. Chiqueiro's Eliézer Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Ortiz in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilmar Ortiz in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliézer Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 16 minutes, Antônio Carlos Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiqueiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Carlos Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cido Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Régis Meirelles charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Régis Meirelles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 25 minutes into the match, Cido Zanette notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Murihu EC's Afonso de Toledo. Afonso de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Afonso de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cido Zanette in the 29th minute. Eliézer Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Antônio Carlos Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso de Toledo having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raí Linares to strike the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos Quadros notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Murihu EC's Afonso de Toledo. Afonso de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Dinei Leme fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chiqueiro's protests and gave Dinei Leme a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Chiqueiro's Dinei Leme got a free kick in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Chiqueiro's goalkeeper Eliézer Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilmar Ortiz. Antônio Carlos Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso de Toledo having to interfere. Raí Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Varela having to interfere. Cido Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Raí Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murihu EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raí Linares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliézer Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Chiqueiro's Eliézer Varela got control of the ball when Nilmar Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chiqueiro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Murihu EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
