Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jaguarasinho EC's Afonso de Godoy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Jaguarasinho EC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Clemente de Queirós hit a great ball. Romeu Motta might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zézinho Bastos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romeu Motta ran back to his position shaking his head. Sílvio Luiz Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaguarasinho EC's Zézinho Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz Gomes in the 10th minute of play. Moisés Alcântara came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaguarasinho EC's Afonso de Godoy. But to his dismay, Afonso de Godoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Natanael Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Alcântara having to interfere. If Romeu Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Romeu Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Afonso de Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Natanael Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Paraizo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Juninho Silveira missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 40 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Moisés Alcântara right hand side. The supporters of Jaguarasinho EC booed when Paraizo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaguarasinho EC were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Paraizo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juninho Silveira took the corner. Giovani Sá was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sílvio Luiz Gomes to make the kick off. Fabiano Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabiano Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, Jaguarasinho EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Cearense to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Renato Senna during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Moisés Alcântara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afonso de Godoy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. Sílvio Luiz Gomes struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Zézinho Bastos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraizo. After 71 played minutes Jaguarasinho EC got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Cearense. After 76 minutes of play Jaguarasinho EC's Clemente de Queirós was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 83rd minute, Giovani Sá reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Moisés Alcântara. The goal made the score 0-3. After having played for 88 minutes, Romeu Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraizo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeu Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Romeu Motta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaguarasinho EC's Zézinho Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Sílvio Luiz Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraizo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 97 minutes of play, Paraizo's Geovânio de Senna made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zézinho Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Jaguarasinho EC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jaguarasinho EC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
