The supporters of Jacuecanga booed when Felix AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo Corrêa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cléberson Almeida went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the game, Fernandinho Pernambucano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jacuecanga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Felix AD the free kick. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Felippe Cordeiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilian da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. If Diamantino Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Diamantino Leão came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Felix AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Leão couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jacuecanga had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
