Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gustavo Reis got the match started through his kick off. Murillo Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simão Pontes during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Sana SS got a freekick which was hit by Simão Pontes. João Augusto Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 minutes, Dadá Hames mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mossurepe FC and the Sana SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Walmir Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Conrado Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sana SS's Cido Quirino got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Gustavo Reis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dráuzio de Azevedo to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Augusto Pernambucano got free with Dráuzio de Azevedo in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio de Azevedo having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Sana SS's goalkeeper Dráuzio de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Augusto Pernambucano. Dráuzio de Azevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustavo Reis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. After 41 played minutes Sana SS got a freekick which was hit by Simão Pontes. João Augusto Pernambucano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dráuzio de Azevedo having to make a save. Mossurepe FC's Dadá Hames got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Murillo Prestes made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sana SS booed when Mossurepe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Carlos Fernando de Lara from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Conrado Paraibano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dráuzio de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Augusto Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Sana SS booed when Mossurepe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sana SS's Murillo Prestes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Conrado Paraibano. That made the score 2-1 after 67 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Gustavo Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mossurepe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráuzio de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dráuzio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Reis in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Reis in the 76th minute of play forced Sana SS's goalkeeper Dráuzio de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murillo Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Augusto Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walmir Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Paraibano having to interfere. With his leg Conrado Paraibano managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Sana SS's Walmir Brito fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Mossurepe FC's João Augusto Pernambucano in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
