Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hermínio Veiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. William Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Veiga in the 3rd minute of the match. Donatello Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Maia having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Pucuriua got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Duarte. Aníbal Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Dantas having to interfere. Hermínio Veiga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Pucuriua's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. William Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Veiga in the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donatello Gaspar got free with William Maia in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Mirassol FC's Aníbal Matorin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Túlio Dantas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 31 minutes, Donatello Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pucuriua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donatello Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermínio Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. William Maia came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Pucuriua's Donatello Gaspar. But to his dismay, Donatello Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, Pucuriua's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme de Lara came free, but Túlio Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Víktor Duarte hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Víktor Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Nestor Bittencourt sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pucuriua's Túlio Dantas didn't even have to move. In the 45th match minute, Pucuriua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Neiva to maneuver through the defense. After 48 minutes Pucuriua's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nestor Bittencourt who took care of the corner kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aníbal Matorin made a kick off. William Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mirassol FC's goalkeeper William Maia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Veiga in the 62nd minute of play forced Mirassol FC's goalkeeper William Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donatello Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fábio Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Fábio Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mirassol FC's Luiz Fábio Correia got a free kick in the 64th minute. Túlio Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. William Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Mirassol FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
