Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vitório Costa made the kick off and thus started the match. Matías Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edmundo de Brito sped through Tapuiara SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Eduardo Arruda. In the 8th minute Christiano Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gramal's zone, Christiano Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mário Madureira came out of the goal and Christiano Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitório Costa in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Eduardo Arruda saved Tapuiara SS from getting behind. Mário Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Pirani in the 20th minute of play. Vitório Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Carlos Eduardo Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Edmundo de Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gramal and the Tapuiara SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Edmundo de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tapuiara SS's Carlos Eduardo Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Costa in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Tapuiara SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Severo to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Vitório Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Edmundo de Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Eduardo Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mário Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Pirani in the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Tapuiara SS got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Barbosa. After the first half Gramal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christiano Pirani to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Gilberto Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Christiano Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christiano Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Madureira having to interfere. The referee gave Tapuiara SS a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ronaldinho Palmeira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gramal's Mário Madureira. 1-2. Mário Madureira came out of the goal and Christiano Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sérgio Cardoso got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Sérgio Cardoso hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
