The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Mariom SC's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam de Souza came free, but Cauã Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcinho Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Zacarias Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Queda's Durvalino Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Custódio Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Queda's Erik Alvarenga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cauã Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Custódio Marques sent off a good shot on target. If Custódio Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Custódio Marques got free with Cauã Corrêa in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cauã Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th match minute, Mariom SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Souto to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcinho Nascimento was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Moura in the 42nd minute of play forced Queda's goalkeeper Marcinho Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Queda's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Dias came free, but Marcinho Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Wiliam de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Queda's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cauã Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Júnior Dias made the kick off in the second half. Custódio Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Corrêa having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Mariom SC got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Novaes. Erik Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Cauã Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queda. Cauã Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Custódio Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Leopoldo Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Marcinho Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcinho Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Dias in the 71st minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Queda's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leopoldo Moura fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 78th minute, Mariom SC's Júnior Dias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Leopoldo Moura in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcinho Nascimento, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marcinho Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Moura in the 85th minute. Queda's Marcinho Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Queda from getting a goal against them. After having played for 93 minutes, Zézinho Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariom SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zézinho Souto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 95 in the game by Leopoldo Moura from a close distance when the talented Marcinho Nascimento managed to make a qualified save. Queda's players were relieved. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mariom SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
